Christmas in San Francisco

This may be one of the most memorable Christmas celebration that Joel Ramirez had for many years because for the first time while enjoying the perfect weather in San Francisco with his family, a group of leaders in the area decided to surprise him and invited him for a dinner. The friendships and good rapport of Joel with Anderea Laygo (popularly known as Andex) led the San Francisco group to be more active participants in building the TFI business in California.

The Dinner was held at Boracay Garden and Grill and the authentic Filipino cuisine was served and everybody had a wonderful time in sharing their holiday experiences with big smiles and aglow in their faces. Listening to some Christmas carols, drinking hot tea, and some dessert at the end of the meal.

Even on this occasion nobody could restraint themselves with excitement in asking Joel about the development and direction of TFI by 2010. And Joel explained about where TFI were before, where TFI now and the great plans for all the distributors by year 2010. The concerted effort of the management team headed by Jayme who work double time even on holiday just to make sure that everything that will be rolled out next year are in the right place with the right technology.

The group went out from the restaurant satisfied with the nice foods and with a big hope that the coming year will be bigger, more exciting, more fun and more commissions for the distributors.

Ontario-On-The-Go

If you come from Los Angeles with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and suddenly you find yourself in Toronto, with -12 degrees Celsius, wearing ordinary jacket will put you in a very uncomfortable situation. This is exactly what happened to Joel Ramirez, Global Expansion Coordinator when he went to Toronto.

However, Joel is fortunate enough that Willie Terrado (Global Founder) brought with him a trench coat that is tailor fit and suited for him. That evening, they went straight from the airport to Hamilton, Ontario where leaders and distributors are waiting to hear from him. The triumvirate of Evangie, Melvina and Cecile provides a warm reception to Joel and guests. Mr. Ahmad Timbo also took part of the program and shared his testimonies and his WHY's to the audience.

The Less Money In, More Money Out (L.I.M.O.) training of Joel was held in Holiday Inn for two consecutive days and roll-out the most awaited Mobile Money Transfer (MMT) technology of Telfund. Many could not believed that m-commerce is now being used in many different aspects including money remittance. Mr. Ely Torrenueva (Global Founder) facilitates the program while Vicky Marayag assist the guests and members.

Vancouver Fresh Wind

This is the second time that Joel Ramirez, Global Expansion Coordinator visited Vancouver and a fresh wind of excitement and the warmness of the new leadership is evident. The support of Margie Alocilja and Marie Bueno of Toronto to the emerging leaders in Vancouver headed by Esther Caasi and Evelyn Chia paid of this time because more people signed up and the interest in doing the business is higher than ever.

During the business presentation, Joel demonstrated the actual Mobile Money Sending (MMT) and everybody applauded because the technology that he lectured before is now a reality. He admonished the distributors to maximize the utilization of the technology that is given to them because it will make their business more productive.

One of the many advantages of Telfund is its ability to offer to the field a cutting edge technology that they built and owned, the better exchange rate, the $2 remittance fee and a better quality of its telecommunication services. Never been done in the history of Network Marketing that a Money remittance is one of the major services being offered to consumer and at the same time profit from it.

Alberta to Winnipeg Canada

There is a saying "Enthusiasm on Fire is Better than Knowledge on Ice", and this is true in the Canadian Mid-West area. When Joel Ramirez- Global Expansion Coordinator visited the area for the second time, and explain to the leaders and distributors the directions of the company and how they will be benefited from it, all the participants were overjoyed and started signing up people from Winnipeg, to Alberta (Edmonton, Calgary, and Grande Prairie).

The leadership of Poy Gomez and Errol Arcega in Winnipeg (GF-SPP) shows that the city with 90,000 migrant Filipinos and thousands of various ethnicities are started to recognized Telfund as a company that give them a new hope for a better life.

Whereas in Calgary and Edmonton our leaders headed by Nenet Aguire, Rodel Aguire, Aileen Bulusan, and Philip Aseron were able to jump start the business and signed up a bunch of GF-SPP. And Aileen Bulusan commented "because of the potential of the business I decided to do it full-time and I know this business is God's blessings".

The small town of Grande Prairie initially you will find it too quite, have a lot of snow and seldom you will see a group of people converge. However, when Vher Dagasdas and Rene Delgado (GF-SPP) unleashed the opportunity about Telfund, the Quality Inn Hotel suddenly became flooded by migrant workers and local people from Grande Prairie. They witnessed the actual Money Transfer to the Philippines and that was the tipping point where new distributors started to signed up and do the money transfer themselves.

The confidence in the field is very evident with the result of Joel's trip. With the opening of Latin American countries including Asia and Africa, Telfund will be unstoppable and will be a household name in money remittance and international calling.
